Bon Voyage Year 8 Merrin Stars

Lisa Dillon-Roberts —

It is my privilege to introduce our first 'digital' Leavers' Yearbook.  I know that this publication will be treasured by the Year 8 students over the years, as they look back at their time at Merrin.

Merrin School is a place where student input is encouraged and warm relationships are at the heart of all of our interactions.  I am thrilled to read the students' comments about such relationships. I would like to commend the teaching team of Lisa McWilliam, Shane Barr, Kieran Ford and Lesley Black - they have brought out the very best in our senior learners this year.

Most of all, thank you to our Y8 students.  You have brought growth mindsets to your year, extending yourselves as learners and displaying role-model worthy behaviour.

I wish you all the very best as you begin your 2016 year at High School and feel confident that you will look back on your time at Merrin with fondness.

Iti rearea, teitei Kahikatea ka taea
