Kia ora, my name is Yali Ding. My children attend Merrin School, and I feel very grateful for the wonderful work all the staff do here. I am a fully registered teacher in both New Zealand and China, with a passion for education, lifelong learning, and supporting students to achieve their best. I value diversity, bilingualism, and strong relationships within the school community.

As a board member, I look forward to learning alongside others and contributing where I can support — particularly in areas of teaching expertise, cultural understanding, and promoting inclusive learning for all.
