Uniforms - Doesn't Mrs Black look Sharp?
Our uniform policy has been affirmed by our community and is valued as a way of showing our pride in our school and making ourselves visible in the community. However, it needs constant vigiliance form the 'Uniform Inspector' to make sure we keep up our standards!! Whenever these seem to be slipping she puts in an appearance.
Like all Year 7-8 students our Merrin Stars like to push against the rules in terms of what is and isn't ok to wear. If you could keep an eye out for nail polish, odd coloured socks, fluorescent shoes and the old chestnuts, "I'll get changed into my school shoes when I get to school . . ." It's getting colder, so checking out the winter uniform now will make sure they're ready for next term. We appreciate your support.
Any queries, please email the Uniform Inspector (Lesley Black) at lesleyblack@merrin.school.nz
