Learning about our oceans, inhabitants and how to care for them.

The Tīrama and Kanapa tamariki have been learning about our oceans, its inhabitants and how we can look after it. 

We have been reading books and watching videos about the oceans around us. The tamariki have written about their favourite sea creature and entered a colouring competition. 

We discussed different sea weeds, sea grass and how it is beneficial for our oceans and sea creatures. We also talked about the impact rubbish has on our oceans. We brainstormed ideas about how we can care for our oceans and its inhabitants. Ka pai, tamariki!
