Merrin Memories - Lewis

My Merrin Memories

Some of my favourite highlights are the beach trip that we went on last year but it was sad because my best friend was not able to come because he broke his leg. Last year we went on lots of fun trips. Last year before we had tech, me and my friends were kicking a ball around and then Seif kicked a ball into a window and all of us ran away. Another good memory was when I was hanging out with my friends and Heidi and Tuleen sat on the goal post and then broke it.

I have only been at Merrin three years and we have done a lot, but one of my favourites was camp. In my room we did not sleep and we were doing WWE fights in the middle and some had candy and we were betting on who would win. Last year when we went on Adventure Day, we were doing all the fun things like the flying kiwi which was when people pulled a rope attached to you and you went flying into the air. Those are most of the memories from my time at Merrin School.

My Heroes

My hero is Aaron Judge who is my favorite baseball player. He has inspired me to keep working on my dreams and to do everything to reach my goals that I have, like he did. When I lose a game I remind myself that Aaron Judge did not win all his games, he lost some and when I am in a hard training session, I think of that and it makes me feel better.

My Jams

When I don't feel like doing something, I put my favourite song on and then it motivates me to do what I have to do. It makes me happy, it makes me feel good and energetic. When I am doing anything like gaming, training, homework or just walking my dog, I like to play that song and it makes me feel better.

My Ultimate Future Self

In 5 years time I would have just finished High School and hopefully be going to use it for college. Then in ten years, I would be playing in the MLB (Major League Baseball) for the New York Yankees. In 50 years I would like to retire and relax at home.

My Favorite Quotes

My favourite quote is, “prove yourself to you, not to others” by Anand Thakur. It means a lot to me because you don't need other people to believe in you, you only need you to believe in yourself. So stop waiting for people to believe in you, just do what you want to do and believe in yourself.

My Wrap Up...

I would like to be remembered at Merrin for the kid who loves sports and has tried his hardest. I would also like to be remembered for being someone that would like to help with anything that the teacher asks, as well as a kind person.
