Meet our leading Junior Stars of Pirates vs Merpeople

Meta (Yr 4) did such a fantastic job as the Narrator for the Junior Production. She had over 43 lines to know off by heart. Blow me down. She nailed it!

Riley (Yr 4) played Pirate Blackbeard, Queenie (Yr 2) played Pirate Seadog, and Buccaneer Crabby, played by Stella Yr 2), are Captian Scarypants new trainee Buccaneers, great with a cutlass and saying aye aye captain!

Zoe (Yr 2) played Taniwha, a mermaid from the South Pacific. She loves her mermaid friends, not was too sure about pirates. She was amazing, that’s foreshore.

Elise (Yr 2) played Aqua. Latin for sea, a brave and bold mermaid, she knows how to deal with pesty pirates. You were shrimply the best.

Janel (Yr 4) played Moana. Te Reo for sea, known for her quick oneliners to deal with Captain Scarypants and his buccaneer crew. Shell was perfect.

Katelyn (Yr 2) played Atlantis. Quick-witted and sharp. Pirates don’t scare her. She was shrimply amazing, that’s foreshore.

Phoebe (Yr 2) played the Boss Mermaid. Feisty, brave and known to solve problems with pirates with the flick of her tail. Phoebe knew her lines and played her role with passion. Shell was perfect.

Ajooni (Yr 2) was the lead Pirate, Captain Scarypants, our not so scary captain, in our Junior Production. Blow me down, what an actor, she loved playing her role, and we loved watching her. Watch out, Hollywood!

Ravaaya (Yr 4) played the Pirate Ace. Wow - she was fantastic. She knew all her lines, and you could tell she loved playing her part. Well done, Ravaaya, who knew she could sing a chantey or two!

Sophie (Yr 4) played Pirate Scar. Sophie demonstrated the best facial expressions when singing and dancing. She also did a great job remembering all her lines. Shiver me timbers.

Mark (Yr 4) played the Pirate Gangrene. Mark played the role of a pirate who hadn’t had a bath in a couple of years. We loved your efforts, Mark - well done, buccaneer.

Meiron (Yr 4) played Professor Fork - a swashbuckling pirate with fierce sword skills. Shiver me timbers - what a buccaneer!

Ryleigh (Yr 3) played Professor Doubloon, a buccaneer, with her eyes on the Spanish gold coin bounty and the crew.

Razan (Yr 4) played Professor Scurvy, the best cook on the high seas and keeping everything ship-shape. Not to mention preventing everyone from getting scurvy.

Evie (Yr 3) plays Professor Cannonball, Ahoy me hearties, an expert at teaching trainee pirates the art of walking the plank. Blow the man down, and over she goes.

Alexis (Yr 4) played the School Principal of Me Hearty High School. Avast Ye and aye-aye professor, an expert at all things piratey. Savvy that!

Hudson (Yr 3) played Buccanieer Storm, Malak (Yr 4) played Buccanieer Skully, and Spike, played by Matthew (Yr 3). These three old sea dog pirates, with plenty of experience and cutlass skills between them, would scare any bucko.

Nisim (Yr 4) played Captian Scarypants' parrot. Shiver me timbers, Nisim. You were fantastic. People just can’t stop raven. Avast ye, we can’t wait for everyone to see you singing your chantey.

William (Yr 3) played our delivery guy. It takes a brave man to deliver a crocodile to a band of swashbuckling pirates.

Emma (Yr 4) played Captain Scarypants’ crocodile. With a fierce grin and razor-sharp teeth, snap, snap, she was the perfect gift.
