We've been outside this afternoon painting Merrin School's brand new Friendship Chair!

The purpose of this chair is if anyone is feeling lonely or upset during break times, they can come sit on one of these chairs. If anyone sees anyone sitting on these chairs they can go to the person and cheer them up. The chairs will be bright and colourful so you can feel safe.

A special thanks to Mitre 10 for helping us with implementing this initiative. Mitre 10 have kindly supplied all of the paint and were fantastic support this afternoon!
