On Monday and Tuesday, Pataitai went to North New Brighton to learn about our shoreline.

When we first got to the beach, we learned about some of the living things we might find on the beach or in the water. After gaining this new knowledge, we went on a scavenger hunt to find some of these things as well as collect anything that was man-made.

After completing our scavenger hunt, we had to sort our collected items into natural and man-made. The last activity we did was to make a message in the sand about keeping our beaches clean.

We had such a great time and this day couldn't have been possible without our parent help. Thank you for joining us on the trip.
