We would like to warmly invite all interested members of our community to attend the Merrin School PTA AGM which is be held on Monday 05 March, 7.00pm, in the Merrin School Staffroom.
The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a committee of dedicated and enthusiastic parents and teachers, who volunteer their time to support the children of Merrin Primary School.
Along with you, the parents, and strong community support, the PTA work to fundraise throughout the year to provide resources and equipment for your children to assist them to learn, play and grow in their school environment.
There are many jobs behind the scenes in which the members of the PTA volunteer their time, including sausage sizzles, spell-a-thons, Entertainment Books, chocolate sales, calendars, school discos, parent morning teas and many more.
We warmly welcome new parents onto the Committee, and to come and enjoy the fun we experience while supporting our children, the school and the wider community. It is a very rewarding experience being part of the PTA, and it is also a great opportunity to get to know other parents from the school.
