Kahui Swimming Day

Splash, splash, splash, went the Kahui kids, as they jumped into the deep, crystal, blue water.  BRRRRRrrrrr the pool was fresh, said the soggy monkeys! We weren't expecting it was going to be so busy. We jumped in to play with our friends,  diving, swimming, making starfish moves. We did lots of splashy big cannonballs. Relaxing on the turtle boards as we floated along. We discovered that the little toddler pool was a good place to warm up and relax, (should we be worried about why it was warm?). 

Sizzling sausages were tasty and filling... maybe 6 was too many? We had a lovely picnic on the mats, with our friends and family. 

Lucky we made it back to school before the rain. A big thank you to all our family members who came along as parent helpers.
