To coincide with the school fair on 22nd November, we will be running a book fair at school starting on Monday 16th November.  The book fair will also be running on the 22nd so families that don't have a chance to visit during the week can drop in.

I would be very grateful for parent volunteers to help with the fair during the week, before and after school.  If you are able to offer any help, please come and see me in the library or email me on amandasimpson@merrin.school.nz, your help would be wonderfully appreciated.

Last year we had a huge number of missing books.  This year I have been working with the children to minimise the number of missing and overdue books.  The children are aware that when books go out of the library they are their responsibility. 

There are some children who have had books overdue for several months. The cost to replace these overdue books have been added to your school accounts.  If you are able to find these, please return them to the library and the fine will not apply.
