Water Polo Champions

This term the water polo team have been playing well as a team to get into the finals. On Friday 5th April we played for first place against Chisnallwood and we were all very excited. We had lost our last game the week before against them so we were feeling a bit nervous. 

The whole game we were tied for goals and at the end of the game, it was a draw, which meant we had to play extra time - first one to get the goal wins. We were all ready and going to try our hardest. The ball went back and forth. We all tried to spread out and make ourselves available, this was hard because the other team was tight on defense. Then it happened, we got a goal!! It was a great team goal! 

We were so happy that we came first, the first time for our school and could not have won without super coaches, Woojin, Jack, Matua Peri, and all the supporters. This is the first title that we have won for our school.
