😀 Enrolment at Merrin

For all enrolments an appointment is necessary. Full details are available at our office and to make an appointment to discuss enroling your child please contact the school office 03 358 8369. Alternatively you can email the office at office@merrin.school.nz and we will contact you with regards to enrolment.

If you live within zone your child is welcome to enrol at Merrin anytime. 

If you live outside the zone your child will only be able to enrol at Merrin through an out of zone application which is held four times during each year, and if there are spaces available. 

Each year the number of out of zone enrolments are advertised and if enrolment requests for out of zone students exceeds the number of places available, a ballot is held.

2025/2026 Ballot Dates

For children who wish to enrol term 1, 2025 (30 January - 11 April)

• Advertisement Date: Wednesday 28 August 2024

• Application Deadline: Wednesday 18 September 2024

• Ballot Date: Friday 20 September 2024

For children who wish to enrol term 2, 2025 (28 April - 27 June) 

• Advertisement Date: Wednesday 12 February

• Application Deadline: Wednesday 12 March

• Ballot Date: Friday 14 March

For children who wish to enrol term 3, 2025 (14 July - 19 September)
