Rewi Wang Yr 8 Leavers Profile

Rewi WANG - November 27, 2017

"Here, I'll help you," is my favourite saying because I like helping people achieve whatever they need to achieve.

My age: Thirteen.

I arrived at Merrin in: 2014

My theme song is: Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

I am giving back by: Being an international ambassador, being a playground angel and also being a wet day monitor.

Hobbies: Reading, Helping people, playing video games, maths.

How I wish to be remembered: Helpful and funny.

Current learning goals: To get a high distinction in ICAS.

My future aspirations are: Writer, architect.

My heroes are: H.G. Wells.

Reflection: During my time at Merrin, I have made significant progress in all subjects and I have made many good friends.

When I started in Merrin, I was a nervous nine year old boy in year five. From that point onward, I have had many funny, happy and surprising moments at Merrin.

During year six, I was really excited because during that year I got my first device. It was an Ipad mini, and at that time I thought it was awesome.

In year seven, I was also very excited because I was in the year seven and eights. I think that I made the most progress in year seven under the brilliant teaching skills of Mr Barr, who was my excellent math teacher.

In year eight, I realised one thing. I was never going to see my friends again after this year. As as result of that, I tried to have as much good times with my friends this year.

Overall, I think that I've made massive progress at Merrin school. I will definitely miss Merrin when I'm in high school.
