We are really enjoying learning about what it takes to care for our environment.
Our big focus this term is understanding what we can do to care for the world we live in. We are learning about how we generate rubbish and how we can reduce and effectively recycle. Many of the children are making simple changes like, putting their food scraps in the worm farm composting bin, making sure they are sorting their rubbish to want is recyclable and what is not. We have asked them to think about what they could do at home too.
Our whole team inquiry this term is about recycling and upcycling. We hope over the coming weeks to begin to expand on these ideas and invent, create and investigate new ideas around recycling and up-cycling. We are looking forward to sharing our learning with you towards the end of term 3.
