Christian World Service (CWS) is the emergency aid, development and justice agency of New Zealand Churches. We work without discrimination, and in collaboration with the ACT Alliance (Action by Churches Together), along with our own partner organisations around the globe.
Christian World Service is seeking a youth and young adult specialist as our Operation Refugee Lead 2024. This is an important and exciting opportunity to encourage support for refugees in faith-based schools and church youth groups. The role is preferably Auckland-based, for sixteen hours per week over a period of six months. You’ll be contacting church/private schools, and youth/young adult groups to encourage students to engage with Operation Refugee – our fundraising programme supporting refugees in countries like Gaza, Ukraine and Afghanistan.
