It is with sadness we advise the Connexion that Rex Millar has died, at the age of 91 years old.
Rex has been a Lay Preacher in Marton for just short of 70 years. In the early 1950s when he went to Auckland University to do his B.Sc. he lived at Trinity College and became a Lay Preacher then. He has preached in Wellington, Wanganui, Palmerston North and Waituna West. We believe he was involved in Synod and probably a Conference Lay Rep for Marton.
