Freese Cottage Accommodation

The Omapere Community Church, which has a strong Methodist heritage, has a small (15 – 20) but committed congregation made up of people of varying ages and denominational backgrounds.

A few years ago when one of the lay preachers left, rather than change to only having fortnightly services most members of the congregation decided to take a turn at leading a service. This has worked well but some asked to be relieved after taking a few services and so we decided to seek outside help. Fortunately we are situated on the beautiful Hokianga Harbour which is a great place to come for time out. We were able to sell land and with the proceeds build a Parsonage which was opened in August this year. The plan is to use the Parsonage as outlined in the flyer below.
