Wesley Broadway offers five half hours of New Zealand carols/hymns for Advent/Christmas/New Year/Epiphany.

The stories and theologies from Advent to Epiphany come alive in the recordings made with New Zealand choirs and congregations.

The book and CD, both titled Carol our Christmas, are published by the NZ Hymnbook Trust, and can be ordered at any bookshop. There are 52 carols in the book and 24 carols on the CD. New Zealand’s Pohutukawa is Aotearoa’s Christmas flower and is cover for both book and CD.

How to listen to the programmes

Live: These can heard live in the Manawatu area at 11 A.M. each Tuesday and Saturday on Frequency AA999.

Online: Programmes can be downloaded via the station website:

www.mpr.nz/show/wesley. Programmes are available for 2 to 3 months, and are listed by topic and date.

Programmes for January 2023: Repeat programmes from earlier sessions are replayed. New programmes begin in February 2023.
