Does your party have a 5-year plan on the climate crisis issue? If so, what is it and what are the measurable steps that you will take towards it?
Encouraging people to use public transport is easy as it gets, so why not make it as cheap as possible?
When your children and grandchildren ask "when did you know and what did you do", how will you answer them?
Do you and your party understand that climate disruption is only one aspect of a wider ecological overshoot which is creating stress on the social, economic, and biophysical fabric of our world? How does Degrowth as a strategy figure into your short, long-term policy strategies across portfolios? Is our current political system and/or politicians up to dealing with issues of this magnitude?
In what ways do your policies reflect a commitment to supporting those communities and regions impacted the most by climate crisis impacts?
If in government how will you support Oceania neighbour states impacted by rising sea levels, and increased storm frequency and intensity? What is your climate refugee policy?
