This month we bring you news from the North Island where weather bombs have created havoc. As is often the way with calamity, there are many instances of human kindness triumphing over disaster. Felonitesi Manukia, a key member of the Vahefonua and Siaola relief supplies team, met a group of RSE workers who were rescued after 10 hours on the rooftops of their accommodation houses as flood waters threatened their lives.
