Registrations Open for World Methodist Conference 2024

The World Methodist Conference is a global gathering of the Methodist-Wesleyan family held every five years in a different part of the world. The 22nd World Methodist Conference will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden 13-18 August , 2024. In August David Bush and Tony Franklin-Ross, members of the Council Steering Committee, met in Sweden as the Steering Committee finalised arrangements for next year’s Conference.

The Conference programme will revolve around the three themes Migration, Pilgrimage and Guiding Lights. The Conference is open to any person who wishes to attend. Registration is now open, with early bird registration closing on 31 January 2024. There is also the possibility of scholarships to for 18- to 35-year-olds to assist with Conference fees. Scholarships are offered on a first come first served basis.
