2024 Climate Justice Calendar; Order Now

Although many Te Hāhi whānau have taken time to understand and put into action some changes to make a difference, in this space and time, the Methodist Church of New Zealand, Te Hāhi Weteriana o Aotearoa must see the bigger picture, and understand the effects of Climate Change specifically with regards to the Pasifika nations.

It is important that we continue to remind each other that as individuals, congregations, synods and as a wider church we must all work hard to ensure that our whenua is ready to be harvested by our future generations.

As people of the Pacific we are directly affected by the impact of climate change. Whilst

it is well documented that large industrial countries around the globe have caused a lot of the problem, we are not without blame and must be part of the solution.

The Climate Justice Working Group continues to remind and find ways to empower our churches to be Climate Justice Warriors. We have created a 2024 Climate Justice Calendar. It is a calendar with a purpose, some life advice and actions you and your whanau, congregation, rohe, synods can try. Calendars are also available in Faka Tonga, Gagana Samoa, Macawa ni vosa vakaviti.

These calendars would make a beautiful gift for any occasion. With Christmas around the corner, why not consider a Climate Justice calendar for a Christmas gift?
