When Did the Churches Go Wrong?
Zooming Newsies, a current affairs group from the Takapuna Methodist Church invite Methodists and friends to a Zoom discussion on The Abuse in Care Inquiry report hosted by Peter Lineham.
The Abuse in Care Inquiry report confirms thousands of children in state care and church institutions were abused or ignored. The Methodist Church of New Zealand was one of the churches named. Zooming Newsies, invite Methodists and friends to a Zoom discussion on the report.

Guest speaker Peter Lineham, is a Christian leader and professor emeritus on religious history who is well known to most of us. Peter has worked on the report, providing a peer review.
