Wasewase Youth Camp focuses on Transformation
Hosted by the Tabakacaka Jesireli and Peceli, the event, has already reached full capacity with 170 youth registered.
Members of the different youth groups around Aotearoa have been busy with their own fundraising activities to help support the participation of their youth members and to finance the camp needs.
Koroturaga Fijian Wesley youth executive committee member in Wellington, Tasha Bese, said they were excited about the upcoming event. The fact that they had been able to get the capacity numbers needed long before the deadline for registration, which was set for 24 March, was a positive indication.
“MYF Camp 2025 has reached full capacity with 170 Fiji youth across New Zealand gathering together to praise our Heavenly Father and create stronger bonds within the Wasewase,” she said.
The theme has been selected to encourage participants to understand the message and what it means for them.
The programme will include spiritual lessons plus cultural presentations that will help build the participants’ knowledge and capacities as young men and women growing up within the church in New Zealand.
