Welcome to this month’s Kidz Korna

I hope you have all settled down at school. Some of you will have started new schools, others moved into a new class and the youngest just started school.

At my church the children have been asked to be kind to one another  and reminded that Jesus told us to love one another as He  has loved us. That is a very good thing to remember because if you are kind to people, they will be kind to you.

I came across this book published in 1999 in our children’s library and immediately loved it.

Abel must leave his family many times for his work. It takes him into remote jungles with only the moon to show him the way. Every time he returns home, he shares his adventures with his family including his two sons. He writes down what he has done and when he leaves home again, the boys relive his adventures and dream of joining him. It is a  really lovely family tale.
