Destination Queenstown
Get ready for adventure and adrenaline
Every year we take a group of IC students, year 10 to year 12, to Queenstown for a fun filled, adrenaline packed adventure. Many of our German students are only here for one term so they join us on this trip before going back home. They are normally the adventurous ones as they do the paragliding and bungy jumping π Unfortunately this year the weather didn't allow for them to do these two activities.
We were a group of 36 (including staff) that hopped on a bus and enjoyed the beautiful views to Queenstown. We stopped at Lake Tekapo which was just breath-taking. We stopped in Cromwell at the famous Mrs Jones for real fruit ice creams. Once we arrived in Queenstown we had room allocations and unpacking and free time until dinner. We stayed at Pinewood Lodge which is a wonderful venue and perfect for a school group. Students were tired and excited at the same time.
Over the next 3 days we had our breakfast and then headed of for an activity that was either jet boating, Gondola and Luge, Ziplining, Arrowtown, Puzzling world. In-between the activities the students had lunch at camp and walked around town and played games.
Heaps of fun and laughter !!! Canβt wait for next year π
