Our own radio station now has 75 students involved. Some of the hosts (pictured) met last month for training.

The Fridge can now be heard in Gore on 88.0FM as well as around Christchurch on 88.3 and online at www.thefridge.net.nz You can also suggest songs via our website, or on 0800 THE FRIDGE.

Students have been recording pertinent Scriptures to play after the hourly news bulletins, so listeners are kept up-to-date from NZME and also hear blessings and prayers from the Bible. Students are also recording short interviews, asking what people have been thinking about and what God has been putting on their hearts. And we've been giving away ice-blocks as birthday presents and prizes from our studio next to the canteen.

Sundays at 10am we not only play Bible teaching from Murray Robertson, but unplugged singing by Irish couple Keith and Kristyn Getty and their young family.

Student leaders meet regularly to pray and develop rosters, recording, promotions, IT, tech and the station's sound. Thanks everybody for your support.
