Which is the best day of the week? Room 12 have been practicing writing persuasively to communicate their opinion on a topic. After some practice work, we tried a completely independent piece. Here are some results. Which day of the week do you think is best?

I am absolutely certain that Friday is the best day of the week. I’m positive I can convince you why.

Everyone knows that Friday is the last day of the week. The fact is there is no homework on Friday. This means we can relax and have fun! The day with no homework is obviously the best.

Others must agree that family traditions happen on Friday. Family games night with a competitive attitude, winning or losing, it is still fun! I know family movie night is awesome no matter what movie you watch! Sitting on the couch with your family intensely watching the screen. It’s great!

Friday sport is really enjoyable. Going off to soccer, netball or hockey is always a blast. Staying at school is awesome too, with all the different sport with the different teachers.

I am sure that I have convinced you that Friday is the best day by far. It is the day for family traditions and sport at school. Without a doubt it is the last day of school. I am confident that you will agree. Next Friday spend some time with your family and have fun!

Others must agree that Saturday is the best day of the week. I am absolutely certain that I can convince you that Saturday is the best. Why you ask? Well I am about to tell you why.

Without a doubt I know that Saturday is the best day for your friends to come over. In my opinion I think playing board games are fun, and talking. If you have more than one friend come over you can play spotlight, hide and seek and other multi player games. I know that one of the best things of having friends over is having food. Your mum or dad might order pizza! And if they do order pizza, there might be some leftovers, so more pizza for you, I guess.

I am sure that everyone likes having a break from work and relaxing on Saturday. Take a nap and sleep in, go to the beach, or play games on the computer. Eat ice blocks and ice cream, go to restaurants, enjoy the sunshine, and sunbathe. Watch movies with your family and much more!

Without a doubt Thursday is the best day of the week. I am certain you will agree with me.

Everyone knows that Thursday has the best school routine. Before lunch we have science projects. It is so fun looking at other people’s experiments. Also all the lessons are maximized. I am sure you will agree that the lessons on Thursday are the best.

The fact is that after school on Thursday, there is nothing on. Most people have finished their homework already, so it is a free afternoon. You can basically do anything you want. For example, you can read, draw, or build. I am sure that you think that after school on Thursday is the best.

It is vital to say that I have convinced you that Thursday is the best. The lessons are maximized, we can look at science experiments and after school is free. Enjoy Thursday next week!

Sunday is obviously the best day of the week. I am utterly and completely sure I can convince you that Sunday is the best.

One reason why Sunday is the best because you can go to church. Going to church is good because you worship the real, almighty God. Worshipping God is amazing because he created us and died on the cross to save us from our sin. That is why church is good.

On Sunday you can also do other things after church. You can play with your friends and chat. You can go out and do shopping as well. That is why Sunday is fun.

I am sure I have convinced you that Sunday is the best day of the week. I have given you two good reasons why Sunday is fun. You can go to church and then play with friends. So, make sure next Sunday you go to church.
