During Term Two...

...the Year 3 and 4 team have been studying Native birds and trees. We have been looking at the Native birds in our Bush Play area and have studied the Native trees that are attracting Native birds to our school. We have a Kereru in our forest and we would love to see more of them! We would like to suggest that we plant more trees in our forest area, to attract more birds.

Ruma Tekau 

In Room 9 we have just finished learning about native New Zealand Birds. We had to carefully trace a picture of a kiwi against the window and then colour it in with pastels. We then had to cut it out and stick it onto some cardboard. We are very proud of our Kiwi art.
