On Monday 15th November we held the Year 9 Careers morning in The Grange. 

We had seven panelists, an Anesthetist, a Builder, Business Owner, HR Manager, Pharmacist, Firefighter, and a Chemical Engineer.

The students collectively had twenty questions to ask the panelists, yes/no, maybe/sometimes answers that the panelists all answered.

At the end of the questions the panelists went back stage and the students had to try and guess their occupations. The students asked some great questions and had some good guesses (some were correct!) the panelists then came out dressed in their work clothes and spoke about their roles.

It was an enjoyable morning and the panelists gave good encouragement to the students. The panelists said they enjoyed themselves and the format.

We were blessed to have and ex student and two parents of MGS students on the panel, so a big thank you to them for giving up their time.
