The 1st XI Girls Hockey team...

have had a fantastic season, culminating in a 4-2 victory over Christchurch Girls in the final to claim the Canterbury Hockey SSL Div 3 title, and gain promotion to Div 2 for 2023.

The girls were on fire early, storming to a four goal lead with some excellent team goals. Girls High fought back in the second half, closing the gap but the girls remained calm to come away with the victory.

Well done to the team and coach Andrew Buckley on a great season!

The Boys 1st XI are into the final of the School Sport Canterbury competition, and will play Rangiora on Monday for the title. The two teams met in last years final with Rangiora just coming out on top.
