William, Elliana, Angus, Mrs Hodge, Easton, Isaac

William Stedman (Y12) has won two awards:

  •  most outstanding achievement by a young sportsman with a disability
  •  highly commended for the most outstanding individual achievement by a young sportsman specialising in one sport.

Elliana Irving (Y9) competed as a Canterbury Representative and part of the Canterbury Squad (4 girls) at the 2017 National Artistic Gymnastics Championships for Step 6 in the holidays. She won the following medals:

  • silver for Canterbury in the team competition
  • silver for vault 
  • bronze for bar apparatus.
  • gold as an overall individual in her age group making her a 2017 National Champion.

Angus McWilliam (Y13), Junior Tall Black, has accepted an NCAA Division 1 basketball scholarship at Texas Christian University in 2018. Click the links below to view media coverage:

 Mrs Yvette Hodge (PE teacher) has been selected to represent NZ in Hong Kong at a Masters' International Ice Hockey Tournament in 2018. 

Easton Stocks (Y8) received his his Canterbury Baggy for being selected for the Canterbury year 8 cricket Team, to bat, bowl and wicket keep. Easton also represented Canterbury under 13 Indoor Cricket team at the National indoor cricket competition in October. The Canterbury Team came second at Nationals.

Isaac Milne (Y8) has been selected for the Canterbury Year 8 Cricket Team and will represent Canterbury in Nelson in January. He also was a part of the Canterbury Under 13 Indoor Cricket Team which played at the Nationals in Wellington in October and came 2nd.
