Friday 5th - Sunday 7th April 2024

Our team of Athletes had a successful weekend in Timaru. Our best results came from Toby Orr who gained two 1st places:

U15 Boys Hammer Throw with a winning throw of 30.20m

U15 Boys Discus with a winning throw of 40.91m

Joshua Dos Santos came 2nd in his U16 Boys 200m Hurdles in a time of 27.69s and his brother Gabriel came 2nd in the U16 Boys Triple Jump in a distance of 11.37m.

The fact that all our Athletes are in the Junior and Intermediate age groups means that we can look forward to many good years ahead. It was encouraging to see some new Athletes join us; Josh Oosthuizen and Kees Dinnissen (son of ex-student and track star, Helena nee Thorne) and our international student; Ippei Kogoshi.
