Head Boy and Head Girl for 2020

MGS —

We (Katie jo van den Bogaert and Luke Peez) have been blessed with the privilege of Head boy and girl of Middleton Grange School. We are both passionate about the well-being and spiritual culture of MGS and feel super lucky to be in a position to put change into action. Our vision this year is to bring unity to all areas of our school through worship in all it’s forms. We feel like our school is in preparation for a revival, and awakening from a spiritual slumber. Our hope is that MGS would “catch the wave,” by intentionally sharing, role-modelling and praying over this exciting message of revival. Matthew 28:19-20 says “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

We hope and pray that through intentionally “catching the wave” we can bless our mission field bringing unity through worship to our school. We hope to see a culture where everyone feels included and hungers to learn more about each other and about our Lord Jesus Christ. The Covid-19 situation has forced us to be creative! We have had to find alternative ways to sow the seeds of revival in our community through things like an increased online presence and lots of skits! It has been so encouraging seeing God work in this lonely situation where it has felt almost impossible to bring unity.

Thankyou for all your prayers and support.
