ICAS Science 2019

MGS —

More than 50 pupils from Middleton Grange School competed in the annual ICAS Science competition in Term 3. This is a test completed by pupils in over 20 countries.

We had some excellent results. Certificates for top-achieving Middle School pupils were handed out in an assembly this term. This included pupils who obtained Distinction (top 10% of candidates) and High Distinction (top 1% of candidates). Other pupils (including those awarded Credit and Merit certificates received these in their Science class. Senior College pupils will receive their certificates early in 2020.

Distinction certificates were awarded to Daniel Wu (Year 7), Alexandria Dodd, Justin Loh, Sam Jun, Sarah Yeo, Jed Alcayde (Year 8), Sun Woo Yi (Year 9), Annalise Smith, Diane Kim, Jung Woo Yi (Year 11) and Benjie Cummins (Year 12).

Chloe Chan (Year 7) obtained a High Distinction, an excellent result that placed her in the top 1% of all Year 7 students sitting the test.

Well done to all pupils who competed in this competition.
