9SC were very excited...

...to head out west to Mt White for camp. We had experienced a great start to the year, but camp is unique in that it takes new relationships and friendships to the next level. And so it proved to be.

Experiences like caving at Cave Stream and tramping into the interior were challenging but rewarding, and the students grew in their confidence and resilience. We even had a few boys brave the chilly conditions on the last night and sleep under the stars!!

The Y13 leaders were outstanding in their energy and encouragement, and often led by example. Their ability to engage the students in the adventure-based learning activities was impressive, and it was clear to the staff present that communication and collaboration skills were dramatically enhanced as the camp wore on.
