International College - Queenstown Trip

MGS —

So basically we take a group of IC students, year 10 to year 12, to Queenstown for a fun filled, adrenalin packed adventure.

A lot of our German students are only here for one term so they join us in doing this trip before going back home. They are normally the adventurous ones as they do the paragliding and bungy jumping 😊 Unfortunately this year we had bad winds over there that’s why they could not do it.

We were a group of 36 (including staff) that hopped on a bus and enjoyed the beautiful views to Queenstown. We stopped at Lake Tekapo that was just breath-taking. We then stopped in Cromwell at the famous Mrs Jones for real fruit ice creams. Once we arrived in Queenstown we had room allocations and unpacking and free time until dinner. We stayed at Pinewood lodge which was really accommodating and perfect for a school group. Students were tired and excited at the same time.

The next three days we had breakfast and then an activity that was either jet boating, Gondola and Luge, Ziplining, Arrowtown, Puzzling world. In-between the activities the students had lunch at camp and walking around town and played games.

Heaps of fun and laughter !!! Can’t wait for next year 😊
