...the NZIEC Ki Tua (New Zealand International Education Conference) took place at Te Pae here in Christchurch.

As part of the conference Education New Zealand had small Vox Pop session where international students currently studying in the country, could give a 3-minute overview of why, what and how.

Vy Nguyen was selected to give a high school students perspective. Vy arrived in New Zealand in July 2022 as part of the Cohort 4 border exemption group as New Zealand's borders slowly opened again.

Vy was outstanding and her presentation really highlighted her amazing achievements since her arrival. A definite star on the rise.
