On June 15 our two Chamber groups, 'Sympathy for Strings' and the 'Dancla' trio performed in the Chamber Competition at the new Piano venue in Armagh St. 

The Dancla trio,  violinists Dasol Jeong (Y12), Astrid Wu (Y12) and Natalie Amersfoort (Y11) played flawlessly, producing a very beautiful tone. 

Sympathy for Strings, led by Callum McKie performing his own composition, 3 movements called 'Sonatina', won 'Best Performance of an Original Composition entry'. Grace Jeong (Y9) (Cello), Aya McLarty (Y10) and Cynthia Guo (Y10) (both Violin) gave an impressive performance of this work, along with Callum.
