During the final week of Term 2, seven Year 12 pupils, along with the Head Boy and Head Girl, had the opportunity to attend the EQUIP Conference at Kingsway College, Auckland.  Over the course of the conference, we got to...

 ...listen to many inspirational speakers through the workshops and the main sessions. We also had the privilege of meeting hundreds of other Christian leaders from within high schools all around New Zealand. 

Through the speakers and workshops, we learnt to embrace the unknown, not to rest on tradition and that through God, anything is possible. We became closer as a group, and we developed a new passion to see the Holy Spirit move through our school. 

The EQUIP Conference also gave all the pupils the atmosphere to worship God on a whole new level. We all felt God’s presence moving throughout the time we spent there, and the group of us left the conference feeling so refreshed and ready to start the next term. 

Overall, the conference was an incredible time. We all learnt so much, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an opportunity to learn about leadership in high school.
