Rachel shares a little about her achievement:

Middleton Grange has 14 pupils engaged with the Duke of Edinburgh International Award (DofEIA), a non-competitive award open to young people aged 14-24. The award has three levels, being bronze, silver and gold. Within each award there are four sections: adventurous journey, skill, service and physical recreation. At the silver level you must do 30 hours over six months in each of these.
For my Silver Award I did an expedition to Vanuatu, completed 30 hours of service working with the elderly; walked daily and rode horses for my physical recreation; and baked for a skill.

i look forward to starting my gold award in 2018.
