One team was called to a challenge...

...Five form classes, ready to pit themselves against teams from other schools. This is the Amazing Race!

Mr Bracefield and Mrs Foster embarked on this event with 60 Year 10 pupils. They faced the day with multiple challenges from many of the Canterbury University faculties to test and challenge the pupil’s mental acuity and fitness levels.

Challenges included chocolate making (a firm favourite from the teams) and an obstacle course that one member needed to be lead blindly through (by a seeing member and a motion challenge). This encouraged the teams to move a toy car from one end of the track to the other, with no tools other than a balloon! There were a myriad of other tasks and riddles as well.

The pupils thoroughly enjoyed experiencing the different aspects of UC and the subject options that are available. Congratulations to 10LA for coming in 3rd place overall!
