The Year 10 leaders...

...gathered in the Kahika Centre on a Friday morning to go through a leadership warrant of fitness. The highlight of the morning was when the team of 12 sat in stunned silence realizing that if they had simply asked questions of each and worked collaboratively, it would have saved 20 minutes of needless walking around the school – the answer was already in the team and a moment hui and listening cannot be underestimated. Past principal, Richard Vanderpyl has been visiting from Hong Kong and he added his wisdom and insight for 40 minutes, dovetailing the team exercises with the thoughts on humility and listening skills.
