On 6 December, Year 7 and 8 made 99 dozen delicious truffles. There were four in a packet and most of them had beautiful cards that the students created. Once they were packaged, Julie, Keelia, Kai Ying and Caitlyn from 7KE and Mrs Johns took them to Grace Vineyard Church so they could give them out to different ministries that help disadvantaged people in Christchurch. Tonight, they will go to Latimer Square Soup Kitchen which helps up to 70 homeless people, weekly. We enjoyed talking to Tony and Stuart about some of the programs that they do at Grace to help in the community. Our goal was to bless people this Christmas and let them know they are special in God’s sight.
