Early in August we heard the exciting news that Jono Manning, Tobey Scott and Nathan Smith, in their band ‘Kenring’ have won a spot at the National Finals. They are now in the top 10 (7 bands and 3 solo/duos) of a competition that has had over 750 entries from around the country and will have a chance to perform for the top spot in Auckland on September 18th. They have worked hard to get this far, and still have a long road to go with media interviews, filming with a documentary crew, and a recording session before the final concert.
