On Thursday 30th August...

...the Middleton A Football team went to the Canterbury Winter Sport Tournament. We were all really excited to have made it to the Canterbury level, after winning the West Zone event a few weeks earlier. We divided into two teams. The first team was: Daniel, Micah, Ryan, Alan and Nathan. Team two was: William, Josh, Theo, Jireh and James. The games were only 10 minutes so we swapped teams at half time.

During the tournament we had a few loses and a few wins. We never gave up and always gave our all. We placed in the middle of the pack. Mr Wallis was very proud of our achievements!

It was great to represent the school at this tournament and we hope that we can have the opportunity to play in it again next year.
