On Wednesday, 22 June, in period three my class (7BL) made vegetable soup. We all had to bring in a loaf of bread or a vegetable. Every table would come up one at a time and help make the soup. While we were waiting for our turn to make soup, we made invitations for some teachers that had taught us and delivered the invitations to them. Then we came back to the classroom, cut our vegetables, and sorted out the tables. Then all the teachers and Mr Vannoort came. It was lots of fun. We watched a video of what Matariki means, and then we all got our soup and bread. While we were eating, we all told dad jokes and talked. It was the best Matariki ever.
