Throughout 2021 a working party has been reviewing our bell times and timetable. As part of the process this group sought feedback from parents, students, and staff. Recommendations were made to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Middleton Grange School Board, both of whom have unanimously supported these.

In summary the following few minor changes will take effect at the beginning of 2022.

PRIMARY SCHOOL (Year 1 – 6):

Monday mornings

• Year 1- 6 students will start school at 8.45am.

Wednesday afternoons

• Year 1 - 6 students will all finish school at 2.20pm. Currently Year 1-6 finish at 2.30pm
• Onsite supervision will be available for Year 1-6 students from 2.20pm – 3.05pm, but we would encourage ALL parents and caregivers to collect their children ASAP after the 2.20pm finish time.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons

• Year 1-6 students will continue to finish at the current time of 3.05pm

MIDDLE SCHOOL (Year 7 – 10):

Monday mornings

• Year 7 - 8 students will start school at 8.45am. Currently Year 7-8 students start at 9.15am
• Year 9 - 10 students will continue to start at 9.15am. This is to allow Year 9 – 13 teachers to participate in their Professional Learning and Development.

Wednesday afternoons

• Year 7 - 10 students will all finish school at 2.20pm. Currently Year 7-8 students finish at 3.20pm; Year 9-13 students finish at 2.30pm.

• Year 7 - 10 students will finish school at 3.15pm. Currently these students finish at 3.20pm

SENIOR COLLEGE (Year 11 – 13):

Monday mornings

• Year 11 - 13 students will continue to start at 9.15am. This is to allow Year 9 – 13 teachers to participate in their Professional Learning and Development.

Wednesday afternoons

• Year 11 - 13 students will all finish school at 2.20pm. Currently Year 9-13 students finish at 2.30pm
