World Vision 40 Hour Famine

MGS —

The 2018 World Vision 40 Hour Famine...

...was a huge success at Middleton, with hundreds of pupils deciding to give up food, technology or something they loved in order to make a difference for South Sudan. In preparation for the 40 hour famine weekend, an assembly was run by the World Vision team highlighting the need for people to get involved in the 2018 “Middleton Million” with the aim of reaching the target of a million dollars donated to World Vision over Middleton’s years of raising money. The 40 hour famine weekend was from the 8th of June to the 10th, and after this weekend students collected their sponsors and handed in their donations for the great cause of helping the refugees fleeing crisis in South Sudan.
